The Prince and Princess of Wales are gearing up for some quality family time together as their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis broke up for the school holidays earlier on Friday.
George, ten, Charlotte, eight, and five-year-old Louis, who attend Lambrook School in Berkshire, are still processing the news that their mother is being treated for the early stages of cancer.
The children have almost one month off and aren't due back into the classroom until 17 April.
They will no doubt be spending the next few weeks away from the public eye, particularly after Kate has asked for privacy as she focuses on her recovery.
© GettyThe Wales family usually spend the children's holidays at their second home, the ten-bedroom Anmer Hall on the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, so it's likely the royals will decamp there in the coming days.
HELLO! understands that they will not make an appearance at the Easter church service at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle with the rest of the royal family.
William and Kate usually attend the service with other senior royals, including King Charles and Camilla, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and their children Lady Louise Windsor and James, Earl of Wessex, Princess Anne, Zara and Mike Tindall, and more.

If the Waleses do head to Sandringham this Easter, they will be afforded much privacy, as locals there aren't fazed by their royal neighbours.
Kate will have the freedom to go out for walks on the beach with the family dogs and enjoy fun Easter activities with the children, including making Easter bonnets, painting eggs, baking, and holding an Easter egg hunt at home.
As William said during a visit to a youth club last week: "My wife is the arty one."
Where William and Kate like to holiday
Previously, the Waleses have also used the children's long school holidays to go on staycations.
In the summer of 2021, they had a fun-filled holiday on the Isles of Scilly off Cornwall, while the year prior, they were also spotted cycling around Tresco Island. William used to frequent Tresco as a child with his brother Prince Harry and his parents, King Charles and Princess Diana.
The Lake District is another popular go-to destination for the Waleses. In 2019 during a visit to Cumbria, Kate revealed that her children love the area and enjoy going on walks there.
© GettyAnd jetting further afield, the royals also like to soak up the Caribbean sunshine on the exclusive island of Mustique. George first travelled there when he was a baby and the family also reportedly celebrated his sixth birthday there.
Carole and Michael Middleton have also been known to join the Waleses on their Caribbean holidays, often spending Carole's January birthday there.
